The Ceremony
In Bernried you can be wedded in the sumptuous Baroque church of St Martin, in the romantic Hofmark church or in the modern town hall. All three locations are easily accessible by foot from our hotel. If desired we can also arrange an open-air ceremony on our hotel grounds. The surrounding landscape and the idyllic view of Lake Starnberg create very special backdrop for your wedding.Surroundings
The Marina is situated in a five acre landscaped park on the edge of the picturesque cloister-town Bernried. The adjacent Bernried Park, the nearby Palace Garden Höhenried, as well as the gardens of the Buchheim Museum offer a unique backdrop for wedding photos. Before or after the ceremony a romantic carriage ride through the village or the surrounding parks can be arranged. We can also schedule a little boat trip to the hotel.The Reception
Do you want to toast with your guests before a dreamlike view of Lake Starnberg? Then we will prepare your wedding reception for you on our lake terrace or our lake balcony. An especially atmospheric ambiance can also be found on our estate. From the Baroque church of St Martin just five minutes by foot lead along a picturesque alley of linden trees to a reception at the well of the Palace Gardens. Our restaurants and banquet rooms are also ideally suited to welcoming the wedding party. Whatever you choose, a unique panorama is guaranteed.Culinary
From the Aperitif, the gala menu and the midnight snack through to breakfast the following morning: We will help you to compose a tailor-made meal and drink plan for your wedding at Lake Starnberg. Our kitchen team will conjure traditional meals with a modern twist out of locally sourced ingredients. Our estate delivers fresh garden produce, beef and lamb as well as game from our own hunt. With just as much care and attention to detail our service team will create the right ambiance for your celebration. The Programme
If desired we can organise the entire event around your wedding at Lake Starnberg. We will take care of table decorations, flower-bouquets, and the wedding cake, we will hire a photographer, book a band or DJ, let wedding doves fly and light fireworks. To ensure that our younger guests are also provided for and entertained we can arrange for professional child-minders in situ. Whatever you imagine for your perfect day, we will make it a reality. Our wedding planners are always up to date on current wedding trends and are glad to consult you. Of course if you prefer you can also take care of the preparations and arrangements yourself.Accommodations
We will happily reserve a contingent of rooms for you and your guests in our facilities. Especially from May to September we recommend booking in good time. Your guests will be accommodated in comfortable rooms with a balcony or terrace. Among the wedding couples the elegant lake suite and our themed rooms, such as the King Ludwig room with a beautiful view of the lake, are popular. Enjoy your first day as a newly wedded couple with a communal brunch with your guests or just the two of you with breakfast in bed and a late check-out.
