Many roads lead to Bernried
Located on the southern edge of the Munich metropolitan region, Bernried can be easily and quickly reached from all directions. The following options are available to you:
Arriving by train
From Munich you can either take the regional train RB66 in the direction of Kochel to Bernried or the S-Bahn S6 to the final station Tutzing.It is best to take a taxi from Tutzing train station to the hotel (6 km). From Bernried train station to the hotel (1 km) you can take a taxi or walk through the picturesque village center or idyllic field paths. We would be happy to reserve a taxi for you from one of the train stations.
Arriving by car or motorbike
Coming from Munich, it is best to take the A95 motorway. You either drive to exit 7 via Sankt Heinrich and Seeshaupt to Bernried or change to exit 4 onto the A952 in the direction of Starnberg, from where the Seestraße St2063 takes you to Bernried.
Arriving by Airplane
From Munich Airport, take the S1 and S8 to the main station, where you can change to the regional train or the S6. The taxi ride from the airport to Bernried takes about 60 minutes.
Local mobility
There is always enough space for your vehicle. We have free parking spaces (registration required). Electric vehicles can charge their batteries for free at 3 charging stations. Bicycles can be parked in front of the hotel buildings.
Regional trains and buses take you to Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen (via Tutzing), Kochel and Bad Tölz (via Penzberg) every hour during the day.
In the summer months, steamers from the Bavarian Lake Shipping Company serve Bernried. This way you can get to know the Starnberg region from the water.
Bicycles, including e-bikes, can be rented from the Marina Hotel.There are a number of idyllic hiking and cycling trails around Bernried that are ideal for day trips.
Arriving with your boat
The marina offers guests with boats trailer parking spaces, crane options and guest berths.
