The Ceremony
In Bernried you can be wedded in the sumptuous Baroque church of St. Martin, in the romantic Hofmark chapel or in the modern Bernried town hall. All three locations are easily accessible by foot from the Marina Resort. If desired, we can also arrange an open-air wedding ceremony on our hotel grounds. The surrounding landscape and the idyllic view of Lake Starnberg create a very special backdrop for your wedding.
The Surroundings
The Marina Resort is situated in a 50000 sqms landscaped park on the edge of the picturesque cloister-village Bernried. The adjacent Bernried Park, the nearby Castle Garden Hoehenried, as well as the park of the Buchheim Museum offer a unique backdrop for wedding photos. Before or after the ceremony a romantic carriage ride through the village or the surrounding parks can be arranged. We can also schedule a little boat trip to the hotel.
The Reception
Do you want to toast with your guests with a dreamlike view of Lake Starnberg? The Marina restaurants and banquet rooms are ideally suited to welcoming the wedding party. In good weather there are even more possibilities: the ballroom patio, Lakeside Terrace, Lake Lounge or the Lakeside Balcony… the choice is yours! A breathtaking panorama is always guaranteed.
The Culinary
From the aperitif, the gala menu, de luxe buffet and the midnight snack through to the breakfast buffet the following morning: We will help you to compose a tailor-made menu and drink plan for your wedding. Our kitchen team will conjure traditional meals with a modern twist out of locally sourced ingredients. Our estate delivers fresh garden produce well as veal, beef and hay milk cheese. The game comes from the estate’s hunting grounds. With just as much care and attention to detail our cordial service team will create the right ambience for your celebration.

The Accomodation
We will happily reserve a contingent of rooms for you and your guests in our 4****Marina Hotel. Especially from May to September we recommend booking in good time. You will be accommodated in comfortable spacious rooms with a balcony or terrace. Among the wedding couples the elegant Lake Suite and our themed rooms, such as the magnificent King-Ludwig-Room are popular. Share your first day as a newly wedded couple with your guests and enjoy the sumptuous brunch. Or just the two of you with breakfast in bed and a late check-out? Perhaps you would like to spend several more days with us before or after the wedding? We look forward to having you!
